This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the WanderShare mobile application, the WanderShare website at WanderShare.app, and related services.WanderShare is designed as a personal travel planning and memory application. Our goal is to give you useful travel tools while allowing you to control the information, photographs, memories, trips, and locations you choose to save.1. Information You Create in WanderShareDepending on how you use the app, you may create or save information including:Trips, destinations, travel dates, itineraries, activities, packing lists, notes, and trip budgets.
Photographs, Polaroids, Postcards, journal entries, captions, and other travel memories.
Memory categories such as Food & Drink, Place / Attraction, Stay, Experience, or general Moment.
Personal ratings or reviews that you choose to attach to a memory.
Saved places and custom map or Earth locations.
Optional profile information and app preferences.For the current version of WanderShare, your personal trip and memory content is intended primarily for your own use within the app. WanderShare does not currently provide public Community publishing, private messaging, or multi-user cloud synchronization.2. Photographs and MediaWanderShare may request permission to access your camera or selected photographs so you can create Photos, Polaroids, Postcards, and Memories.Your media is used only to provide the functions you request.When you choose to share an image, Polaroid, Postcard, countdown card, or other exported content, WanderShare uses the Android sharing system to pass that content to the application or service you select.Once content is shared to another application or service, that third party’s privacy practices apply.3. Location InformationMany WanderShare features are location-based.With your permission, WanderShare may access precise or approximate device location to help you:Place a Memory on Earth or a map.
Record where a photograph or experience occurred.
Discover nearby places.
Center maps on your current location.
Save or refine a location.
Display travel-related location information.
Associate Memories, activities, or places with geographic coordinates.You may also manually search for or select a location without relying on your current device location.Location permission can be changed at any time through your Android device settings. Some WanderShare features may not function fully if location permission is disabled.WanderShare does not require you to publicly disclose your precise location.4. Maps and Location ServicesWanderShare uses third-party mapping and geographic services, including services provided by companies such as Google and Mapbox, to display maps, geographic imagery, places, and related information.When these features are used, the relevant service provider may receive technical information necessary to fulfill the request, such as map coordinates, device/network information, or search terms.Those services operate under their own privacy policies and terms.5. Trip Planning and Budget InformationWanderShare allows you to optionally enter estimated or actual activity costs and an overall trip budget.This information is for your personal trip-planning purposes.WanderShare is not a banking, payment, accounting, investment, or financial-management service.Trip budget amounts entered into the app are separate from subscription purchases made through Google Play.6. WanderShare Pro and PaymentsOptional paid features may be available through a WanderShare Pro subscription.Payments and subscription billing are processed by Google Play, not directly by WanderShare.WanderShare may receive information necessary to determine subscription entitlement, such as whether a subscription is active, expired, cancelled, or in a trial period.We do not receive or store your complete credit-card number, bank-account number, or other full payment credentials used by Google Play.Google’s privacy policy and payment terms apply to transactions processed through Google Play.7. Sharing and Exporting ContentWanderShare includes tools that allow you to intentionally export or share content such as:Photos, Polaroids, Postcards, trip countdown cards, trip information, and other user-created content.Nothing is intended to be publicly posted merely because you create it inside WanderShare.Sharing occurs when you deliberately choose a sharing or exporting action.You are responsible for reviewing the information visible on a share card or exported item before sending it to another person or service.8. Device and Technical InformationThe Android operating system, Google Play, and related platform services may provide limited technical or diagnostic information associated with app operation, such as:Device type, operating-system version, app version, crash information, performance information, and installation or subscription status.Where we receive such information, it is used to maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve WanderShare.We do not sell personal information.9. Data StorageThe current version of WanderShare stores core personal travel information and user-created Memories primarily for use on your device.WanderShare does not currently advertise or provide WanderShare-operated cloud backup or cross-device synchronization of your personal Memories and itineraries.Your Android device, Google account, manufacturer backup system, or other operating-system services may separately back up application data depending on your own device settings. Those backups are controlled by the relevant platform provider, not WanderShare.Because V1 does not provide a dedicated WanderShare cloud-backup system, users should not treat WanderShare as their sole permanent archive of irreplaceable photographs or information.10. Third-Party ServicesWanderShare may rely on third-party services to provide features such as:Mapping, location search, nearby discovery, weather or geographic information, Google Play billing, Android sharing, and other platform functionality.When you interact with a third-party service, information necessary to provide that function may be processed by that provider.We encourage users to review the privacy policies of services they choose to use.11. Information You Send to UsIf you contact WanderShare for technical support, feedback, or another inquiry, we may receive information such as your name, email address, message content, screenshots, device information you choose to provide, or other information necessary to respond.We use that information only to provide support, address the inquiry, improve the app, or meet legal obligations.12. Data Retention and DeletionInformation stored locally within WanderShare generally remains on your device until you delete it, clear the application’s data, or uninstall the application, subject to any independent device or operating-system backups.Individual Trips, Memories, Photos, Polaroids, Postcards, and other content may also be deleted using available in-app controls.Information provided directly to WanderShare through support correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the matter, maintain business records, prevent abuse, or meet legal requirements.13. Your ChoicesYou control many aspects of the information WanderShare uses.You may withdraw or modify camera, photo, and location permissions through Android settings.You may choose whether to enter optional information such as ratings, reviews, budgets, notes, or precise locations.You decide whether to export or share content outside WanderShare.You may cancel or manage a WanderShare Pro subscription through Google Play.14. SecurityWe take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect information associated with WanderShare.However, no device, application, network, storage system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security on your device, including screen locks, account security, and backups where appropriate.15. Children’s PrivacyWanderShare is not designed to knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.Parents or guardians who believe that a child has provided personal information directly to WanderShare may contact us using the information below.16. International UseWanderShare may be used while travelling internationally. Mapping, payment, platform, support, and other third-party services may process information in countries different from your own.Applicable privacy protections may vary between jurisdictions.17. Your Privacy RightsDepending on where you live, privacy law may provide rights concerning personal information held by a business, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion.To make a privacy-related request concerning information held directly by WanderShare, contact us using the information below.Data stored solely on your own device generally remains under your direct control through the app and Android operating system.18. Future FeaturesWanderShare may introduce additional features in future versions, including features that involve cloud storage, synchronization, collaboration, or public sharing.If a future feature materially changes how personal information is collected, stored, or shared, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when that functionality becomes available.The existence of language concerning possible future changes does not mean such functionality is currently active.19. (“WanderShare,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).By downloading, accessing, purchasing, or using WanderShare, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.If you do not agree, do not use WanderShare.1. About WanderShareWanderShare is a travel planning, mapping, memory, and creative travel-journal application.Features may include trip planning, itineraries, activities, packing lists, trip budgets, maps, Earth visualization, Photos, Polaroids, Postcards, Memories, journals, saved places, destination discovery, sharing tools, and related travel features.Features may change, improve, be added, or be removed over time.2. EligibilityYou must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms.If you are under the age at which you may legally enter into a contract in your jurisdiction, WanderShare should be used only with permission or supervision from a parent or legal guardian where required.WanderShare is not intended for children under 13 to independently provide personal information to us.3. License to Use WanderShareSubject to these Terms, WanderShare grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the application for lawful personal purposes.You may not:Copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, circumvent access restrictions, interfere with security features, misuse WanderShare infrastructure, or use WanderShare in violation of applicable law, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.4. Your ContentYou retain ownership of the photographs, text, Memories, notes, reviews, itineraries, and other original content you create or import into WanderShare.Using WanderShare does not transfer ownership of your personal content to WanderShare.You grant WanderShare only the limited rights technically necessary to process, display, format, render, save, or export your content in order to provide functions you request.For example, WanderShare may render your photograph into a Polaroid, Postcard, Memory card, or share image when you choose those features.5. Responsibility for ContentYou are responsible for content you create, import, store, or share using WanderShare.You should not use WanderShare to create, store, or distribute content that violates applicable law or the rights of others.When sharing photographs or information involving other people, you are responsible for obtaining any permission that may be required.6. Local Storage and BackupsThe current version of WanderShare is not a guaranteed permanent cloud-storage or backup service for your personal travel data.You are responsible for maintaining copies of important photographs, documents, travel confirmations, or other information where loss would cause significant inconvenience or harm.WanderShare is not responsible for losses caused by device failure, device replacement, operating-system changes, accidental deletion, application removal, corrupted local storage, or failure to maintain appropriate backups, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.7. Location, Maps, and NavigationWanderShare may display locations, maps, routes, nearby places, geographic coordinates, weather information, destination information, or links to third-party navigation services.This information is provided for convenience.WanderShare is not a navigation, emergency-response, aviation, maritime, medical, or safety-critical service.Maps, geographic coordinates, road information, business information, opening hours, weather data, routes, and other third-party information may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable.Always use appropriate judgment and official sources when personal safety, transportation, border requirements, weather hazards, opening times, reservations, or other important travel decisions are involved.8. Discover and Destination InformationDescriptions, recommendations, destination information, nearby places, or other discovery content are provided for inspiration and convenience.Conditions change.A location, attraction, trail, restaurant, accommodation, road, border, or service shown in WanderShare may be closed, restricted, unsafe, unavailable, or materially different from the information displayed.Users should verify important information with the appropriate official source or service provider before relying on it.9. Personal Ratings and ReviewsWanderShare may allow you to assign ratings or write personal comments about restaurants, food, accommodations, experiences, attractions, or other places.These ratings are intended primarily as your personal travel memories and opinions.They do not represent an official rating, certification, inspection, endorsement, or assessment by WanderShare.10. Trip Budgets and CostsTrip-budget tools, estimated costs, actual costs, and related calculations are provided for personal planning convenience only.WanderShare does not provide financial, banking, accounting, tax, investment, or currency-conversion advice.Users remain responsible for verifying actual prices, exchange rates, fees, taxes, and charges.11. WanderShare ProWanderShare may offer optional paid features through a WanderShare Pro subscription.The price, billing interval, features included, and availability of any trial are shown before purchase.Where a free trial is offered, the subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends, as described by Google Play at the time of enrollment.Subscriptions purchased on Android are processed through Google Play.Google Play controls payment processing, renewal, subscription cancellation, and applicable refund mechanisms.You may manage or cancel your subscription through your Google Play account.Deleting WanderShare from your device does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.Unless otherwise required by law, subscription refunds are handled according to Google Play’s applicable policies.12. Free and Paid FeaturesWanderShare may offer both free and paid functionality.Limits associated with the free version and features included in WanderShare Pro may change over time.We may modify subscription features where reasonably necessary to improve, maintain, secure, or evolve the service.We will not intentionally charge a new subscription amount without the notices or authorization required by the applicable app-store billing system and law.13. Sharing and ExportingWanderShare allows users to intentionally share or export certain content.Before sharing, review the card, photograph, location, date, caption, or other information being exported.Once content is sent to another application, website, person, social network, or messaging service, WanderShare no longer controls how that recipient stores, displays, shares, or uses it.14. Third-Party ServicesWanderShare may integrate with or link to third-party services such as Google Play, Google mapping services, Mapbox, navigation providers, weather or geographic-data providers, and Android sharing tools.Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.WanderShare is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, content, or conduct of an independent third-party service.15. Internet and ConnectivitySome WanderShare functions may require an internet connection.Mobile-data charges, roaming costs, internet availability, GPS availability, and device-service charges are your responsibility.Certain features may become unavailable while travelling in regions where network, mapping, or platform services are restricted or unavailable.16. Intellectual PropertyWanderShare, its name, logos, branding, application design, graphics, original share-card designs, software, interfaces, written materials, and other WanderShare-created content are owned by WanderShare Ltd. or used under appropriate rights.These Terms do not grant you ownership of WanderShare intellectual property.Your personal photographs and original user content remain yours as described above.17. Acceptable UseYou agree not to use WanderShare to:Violate applicable law; infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights; distribute malware; interfere with the app or its services; attempt unauthorized access; manipulate subscription systems; impersonate another person; or otherwise misuse WanderShare.18. Availability and UpdatesWe aim to keep WanderShare reliable, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.Features may temporarily become unavailable for maintenance, third-party outages, compatibility issues, security reasons, or other circumstances.Application updates may be required to continue using certain functionality.19. Future FeaturesScreens, announcements, or references to features marked Coming Soon, planned, experimental, or future-facing do not constitute a guarantee that a feature will be released by a particular date—or released at all.For example, a preview of future Video Memories does not create an obligation to deliver that feature within a specified period.Future cloud, Community, collaboration, messaging, wearable, synchronization, or other functionality will be governed by updated terms where appropriate if and when released.20. No WarrantyTo the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WanderShare is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.We do not warrant that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, completely secure, or that travel, map, destination, location, weather, or third-party information will always be accurate.Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.21. Limitation of LiabilityTo the maximum extent permitted by law, WanderShare Ltd. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of WanderShare, including losses arising from travel decisions, lost data, missed reservations, inaccurate third-party information, device failure, or content shared through another service.Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.Nothing in these Terms limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.22. IndemnificationTo the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims or losses resulting from your unlawful misuse of WanderShare, your violation of these Terms, or content you share that infringes another person’s rights.23. Suspension or TerminationWe may restrict access to WanderShare where reasonably necessary to protect the application, enforce these Terms, comply with law, address fraud or abuse, or protect other users and third parties.You may stop using WanderShare at any time.Ending use of the app does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Google Play; subscriptions must be managed through Google Play.24. Governing LawThese Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.Nothing in these Terms removes rights you may have under mandatory consumer-protection law.25. Changes to These TermsWe may update these Terms as WanderShare evolves.Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last Updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice through the app or website.Continuing to use WanderShare after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.26.
